Your complete DATASPHERE 2026 journey from registration to championship.
Registrations are now live. Create a team of 2–3 members and secure your slot for India's biggest 24-Hour National Datathon.
Official problem statements for every track will be released. Teams can study the challenges, understand the objectives, and prepare their implementation strategy before the event.
Verified datasets, supporting documents, evaluation metrics and submission guidelines are released as the Datathon officially begins.
Build, train, analyse and innovate continuously for 24 hours with mentor support, technical reviews, and exciting surprise checkpoints.
Teams demonstrate their solutions before an expert panel, showcasing innovation, technical implementation, visualization and business impact.
Celebrate excellence as the winners are announced, prizes are distributed, certificates are awarded, and DATASPHERE 2026 concludes with networking and memorable moments.
Cohorts must consist of exactly 2 to 3 members. Solo participation is not permitted.
Teams can select and submit answers for only one track. Cross-submissions are disqualified.
All design, formatting, and training steps must happen during the 24-hour window.
Judges grade prototypes across these eight core factors.
Datasphere 26 is Sathyabama Institute's flagship National Level 24-hour Datathon. It is designed to challenge developers and AI enthusiasts to solve critical real-world business problems using data architecture, machine learning model fitting, and agentic workflows.
The datathon is open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and engineering students across India who are passionate about data science, AI, modeling, and coding.
Teams must consist of exactly 2 to 3 members. Individual registrations are not allowed, but you can form cohorts with others prior to registering.
You can use LLM models and assistive tools to aid coding, documentation, and debug cycles. However, copying pre-written functional systems or copying tracks from external creators directly is strictly prohibited and audited by plagiarism checks.
Yes, pre-trained base models from open repositories (like Hugging Face or PyTorch Hub) are fully allowed. Fine-tuning models or adding retrieval-augmented mechanisms (RAG) are highly encouraged.
No, you must construct predictions and dashboard insights based solely on the official datasets distributed at commencement. External supplemental datasets can only be used if specified in the problem statement.
You must bring your own laptops, necessary adapters, ethernet cables, custom software dependencies set up in advance, and identification documents. Power outlets and standard campus internet nodes will be supplied.
